2024 PACK CITY COUNCIL TO DEMAND A PEOPLE’S BUDGET PUBLIC Testimony April 30th

Philadelphians have known for decades that a safe and thriving city requires strong investments in education, fully staffed city services, and programs like mobile crisis units and robust libraries & recreation centers. We know the funding exists – it is just being hoarded by wealthy individuals and megacorporations who dodge paying taxes that should be going towards these vital city services.

City Hall is currently deciding on the city's budget -- budgets are moral documents and need to reflect the priorities of our communities, families, and all Philadelphians. Join us on April 30 from 1:30-4pm to pack City Council chambers and share our public testimony for a People's Budget. This is the first time budget public testimony will be in person in years. With a new Council and Mayor, join us to make our voices heard! We need our elected officials to make a choice: will they invest in our demands for the common good of all Philadelphians?

Come out on April 30 to the Budget Hearing Public Testimony to pack City Council Chambers! Let's make our voices heard and demand a People's Budget!
